I first came to Christ Church with a BTEC in software development and an interest in psychology to do an undergraduate degree in combined honours Computing and Psychology. My love for psychology took over and I graduated in 2011 with single honours Psychology BSc. In 2012 I obtained an MSc in Cognitive Neuropsychology from the University of Kent. I have also spent some time working with adults with learning disabilities including individuals ASD, Asperger’s and Down’s Syndrome, completing a Certificate in Professional Development in Good Autism Practice.
My main duties as technician involve providing direct specialist technical support to the psychology department, including administrating the department’s Research Participation Scheme (RPS) and specialist software such as Qualtrics, SPSS and the management of the Psychology Student Database. I also offer direct contact with students for tutorials in SPSS, Qualtrics, Superlab and any other specialist software that is required.
