Profile summary

My forensic career started with the Metropolitan Police where I worked for 21 years as a CSI on Borough and then as a Crime Scene Manager as part of the Homicide and Serious Crime Command investigating murder, suspicious death and critical incidents.

I was part of the UK Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team as as such was operationaly deployed to Thailand post Tsunami and was on the team that dealt with the 52 victims and the 4 bombers in the 7/7 London terror attacks as well as responding to other incidents of a mass and critical nature..

I was also the lead CSI in the MET's Forensic Response Team (FRT) a specialised team responding to the fast time recovery of forensic evidence in public order distruption for events such as the Notting Hill Carnival, football matches and the London riots.

For the past threee years I have been a Forensic Tactical Advisor to the Abu Dhabi police, the first female to hold this post, covering 6 of the 7 Emirates of the UAE, where I advised, trained and mentored CSI's and Officers as part of their drive to expand and improve the crime scene expertise in the Emirates. 

I am CBRN trained, am a resgistered Fingerprint Expert and I hold an MSc in Risk Crisis and Disaster Management from the University of Leicester.

External activities

I am a subject matter expert for Interpol and undertake work with and for them as and when my skillset is required.
