Dr Ken Aduhene is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Human and Life Sciences at Canterbury Christ Church University. He has an extensive legal background, having taught law and Business related subjects for many years in Higher Education
His academic interests are interdisciplinary and focus on aspects of Law, Business Ethics and Tourism policies and development (with a particular focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and the developing world). He is also currently conducting research on Terrorism on Tourism in West Africa and how this threat actual and perceived, has the potential to undermine efforts in the region to harness the benefits of tourism for developmenb.
His research stems from his interdisciplinary background and focuses on the development of national and regional development policies for integrating tourism as a pillar for regional regeneration and economic development. He also specialises in investigating the issues of transparency and good governance in leadership as a means for promoting economic development.
