Profile summary

I joined the university in 1990 and my association with The Business School began in 2001.  I have always been interested in exploring all sorts of new knowledge and am a strong believer in the value in education.  The work of Bean, Brookfield, Dee Fink, Lowman, Wlodkowski are some of the educationalists who have inspired and informed my approaches to teaching and learning.

Academic and research interests: The relationship between Business and Sustainability, Corporate Governance and Corporate Responsibility, Education for Sustainable Futures to prepare young people for their future professional and personal lives

Academic responsibilities (2014-2015): Module leader for level 5 Developing Sustainable Business; seminar tutor for level 4 Business Economics

Teaching and subject expertise

I am interested in people in terms of their backgrounds, values, beliefs and perspectives and how they affect people's behaviour in organisations.  Management and Leadership, Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management and Intercultural Management are all areas of my teaching and research interest.

In recent years, my teaching and subject focus has shifted to Economics, Business and Sustainability

I also have a keen interest in Corporate Governance and Corporate Responsibility
