Risk Management.

Risk management forms an important part of Canterbury Christ Church University’s governance and internal control arrangements.

The process for managing risk at the University is co-ordinated by the Finance Directorate, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, in accordance with the Risk Management Policy and Procedures.

Risk Register

A key element of risk management at the University is the High Level Risk Register which is linked to the University’s Strategic Plan and the comprehensive business planning process undertaken across the University. The Risk Register is also regularly reviewed and updated


The Audit Committee acts on behalf of the Governing Body to monitor and oversee risk management for the University. The Committee receives reports on a quarterly basis to fulfil their responsibility.
