There are a number of campus facilities available to you while at Christ Church from the state of the art gym to a range of catering outlets.
Due to social distancing measures the way in which we provide these services will change, as our priority remains to keep you safe. We will keep you updated here on what to expect and how to access all that we have on offer to enhance your student experience.
We are delighted to announce our phased reopening of the University sports centre from 3 August.
As we begin the reopening process of facilities and services, there will be some significant changes designed to keep our members safe, adding even more safety measures and extensive cleaning protocols to help our members get back to doing what they love.
For those users that would prefer to continue exercising from home for the time being, we will continue to offer our online fitness classes through our partner OurParks – offering an exceptional range of online classes for free.
From 1 September most of our catering outlets across our Canterbury and Medway campuses will be open, offering lunches, snacks and drinks.
Following government guidelines, we will have hand sanitisers at the entrances of our catering outlets, social distancing queues in place and we will be encouraging contactless card payment.
For food on the go we will still have our vending machines and microwaves, with additional cleaning measures for safety. And at any seated venues we will be asking you to opt in to the NHS Test and Trace scheme.
Finally, look out for the launch of our new Click and Collect service – a safe and convenient way for you to pre-order your food and drink.
