I studied French and Global Politics from 2009-2012, which included a year abroad on an ERASMUS exchange. I really enjoyed my time at CCCU and found the lecturers to be very encouraging, welcoming and helpful, throughout my time at university. They were always willing to help, whether it was giving advice about an essay, dissertation or career opportunities. After leaving Canterbury, I continued my studies in Human Rights and I am now currently working for one of the UN's specialized agencies in London, assisting with the organisation of conferences and learning more about international maritime issues and the UN system. I am very grateful to my politics lecturers as everything that I learnt helped me during my Masters course and has been very useful in my working life.”
