Policing Pregnancy: Who should be a mother?

The conference ‘Policing Pregnancy: who should be a mother?’ took place on the 18 May 2017 at Canterbury Christ Church University.

This interdisciplinary event was a collaboration between Engaging Sociology, British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), the Centre for Parenting Culture Studies (CPCS) and Birth rights, and explored issues surrounding pregnancy, autonomy, responsibility, risk, motherhood, and the effect of these on the experiences of women.
