Alex Vitale, Professor of Sociology and co-ordinator of the policing and social justice project at Brooklyn College, will be talking about his latest book: The End of Policing.

Is the problem with modern policing the lack of training or education, or the diversity of police recruitment and leadership? Alex will argue there is something more fundamentally wrong with the mission we have given our police services.

This is a public lecture at CCCU hosted by the Canterbury Centre for Policing Research.

Free and open to university students, staff and the general public, booking not required.
