Your Route into Engineering
Engineering offers undergraduates a wide range of degree courses, giving students the opportunity to specialise in a certain engineering discipline.
BEng with Foundation Year
This four-year course starts with the Foundation Year, which helps you build your engineering skills and knowledge while preparing you for your particular engineering degree.
Our Foundation Year provides creative and talented students, who may not have the usual entry requirements, with a route to an engineering degree.
At the end of the Foundation Year, you will continue with your selected BEng course.
On completion of the BEng (Bachelor of Engineering), you will be on track to become an Incorporated Engineer (IEng).
BEng
The three-year Bachelor of Engineering courses will unlock your full potential as a creative problem solver. The learning and teaching takes a hands-on approach for typically 50% of the course, so you can be a work engineer by the time you graduate
On completion of the BEng (Bachelor of Engineering), you will be on track to become an Incorporated Engineer (IEng).
MEng
The four-year Master of Engineering courses will advance your engineering talent even further and develop your leadership and management skills.
On completion of the MEng (Master of Engineering), you will be on track to become a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
