Our modern degree programmes are at the cutting-edge of computing technology, and will give you the skills you need to forge a successful career in the digital sector.

Our undergraduate programmes let you focus your learning towards areas that interest you most. So, whether you are interested in Computing, Web Technology, Business Information Systems, or even Computer Forensics and Security, we have a flexible option for you.

Meanwhile, for postgraduate students we offer a choice of three MSc programmes, designed to help you develop advanced technical skills, with the option for further MPhil or PhD study.

Research-led teaching

Computing is a constantly evolving field, and we regularly update our course content to reflect the changing nature of the subject. Many of our staff are actively engaged in research, and we use this research to enhance the quality of our teaching. Not only will you learn the most relevant and up-to-date material, but you will also develop key practical skills that will help prepare you for the world of work.

Working in partnership

Your success is important. This is why we work with a range of partners to provide you with the best learning experience possible. For example, we work with the Business School to deliver option modules as part of our Business Computing degree; meanwhile our MSc in Cybercrime Forensics is delivered in partnership with College of Policing (previously the NPIA) High Tech Crime Training Unit. We also collaborate with University colleagues as part of the School’s Cybercrime Investigation research.
