Enjoy discovering and creating a multi-faceted performance exploring the plays of Shakespeare. Musical numbers, dramatic dialogue and evocative dance, with full technical possibilities, will give a fresh perspective on all that the Bard has to offer. Positively building on experience you may already have, dive into a fun, immersive ‘show in a day.’ 

In this free showcase taster-day, Sixth Form and College students are invited to explore our facilities, develop their skills, and contribute to a show with professional production.

On the day, students will be divided into groups and participate in three main sessions, focusing on acting, singing and dancing. These will be led by highly skilled CCCU staff who are also professional practitioners. In all three workshops students will work on a performance based on a Shakespeare play. The day will end in a celebratory performance where participants perform for each other utilising what they have learnt and the cutting-edge, industry standard equipment in CCCU’s Anselm Studio Theatre.
