In this masterclass students will examine essential areas of business and consider how they interact to ensure that goods and services are delivered.
In this fast-paced series of one-hour masterclasses with an academic and/or postgraduate ambassadors, students will develop their understanding of a some essential areas of business and consider how these areas interact in ensuring a business or not-for-profit organisation delivers their goods or services effectively.
Logistics & Supply Chain: A whistle-stop tour introducing the world of logistics. In this workshop students will develop their understanding of the impacts of different modes of transport on the speed and security of the supply chain as well the role of outsourcing for strategic and operational management.
Service Management: Service a major differentiator for many businesses. In this workshop students will develop their understanding of why the (customer) service encounter matters and consider the complex interactions between areas such as service quality and capacity on the customer experience.
Students will attend both masterclasses, during the carousel. The sessions are one hour each and can be booked individually
