Students will develop their understanding of project management including finances, scope and resources as they design a fundraising event.

In this three-hour workshop with an academic and/or postgraduate ambassadors, students will develop their understanding of project management including finances, scope and resources as they design a fundraising event for their school or college. This interactive session will provide your student voice, student council, prefects or aspiring leaders will the skills and knowledge to move from idea development, through to project design and implementation, leaving the session with skills and ability to develop a working project plan in school/college with support from staff. Building students’ confidence and knowledge this session develops their understanding of the applications of project management from planning a revision strategy to future careers.

Curriculum Links:

  • Interactive session developing research and time management skills for projects such as the FPQ, HPQ, EPQ or IBCP reflective project.
  • English Language (Key Stage 3-4/ Level 2) – spoken English (confidence and discussion/debate)
