In this two-hour masterclass with an academic and/or postgraduate ambassadors, students will deepen their knowledge and understanding of the structure and operation of major political institutions in the UK and the constitution. We will develop awareness of the significance of the development of governance in the UK, from Magna Carta to contemporary legislation and issues regarding rights. We will also analyse and evaluate the powers and scrutiny of the three branches of government, and the major political parties and their ideologies. This session can be tailored to the needs of the participants, dependant on staff availability.
