University Campus or In your School or College

Design, prototype and test a board game in groups. Participants will outline a game theme and rule set in order to create a rough prototyped board game.

In this interactive 2 hour workshop with the Games Design team and current Games Design student ambassadors, students will deepen their understanding of the mechanics behind developing a functional board game, with the opportunity to create, play and evaluate. Students will gain an insight into how mechanics and art intersect in this medium of game, and also take a brief look at the game industry. Students will also have opportunity to hold Q&A with current students and industry experts.
