An opportunity for female students in Kent and Medway to participate in the Levelling Up Computing programme at CCCU.
CCCU is pleased to announce that it will be offering female students in Kent and Medway the opportunity to participate in the Levelling Up Computing programme.
Levelling up is an initiative supported by BCS - The Chartered Institute for IT and Dr Tony Hill.
This 2-day event is aimed at female students who are in the first year of a 2 year programme of study at level 3 (e.g. A level, BTEC, T levels or other qualifications) who are considering a career in any area of Computing or IT.
The programme consists of 9 sessions. Eight sessions will be delivered on campus and one will be delivered remotely:
The programme is free to attend, and lunch will be provided on both days. Attendees will be responsible for the cost of transport to and from CCCU campus in Canterbury.
The dates are Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th June 2026 with the Welcome session taking place on Friday 12th June.
Applications are welcome from all qualifying students and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
