I have been a Nurse Fellow, Lecturer, then Senior Lecturer at the university since 1997.
I teach on BSc Adult Nursing course, and have previously taught on MSc Nursing (Adult or Mental Health), Return to Practice, and both the Nursing Associate and Degree Nurse Apprenticeship courses.
I am a Personal Academic Tutor on the BSc course.
I qualified as an Adult Nurse in 1986. Prior to starting work at the university, I worked in East Kent in various settings, including a mixed speciality short stay ward, oncology and out patient units and district nursing teams.
