Ms Su Hart

I have undergraduate degrees in Applied Psychology and Sociology, and Occupational Therapy. I also have an MSc in Psychological Research Methods. I have worked within clinical practice for the past 22 years, specialising in mental health. The majority of my career has been within forensic psychiatry and suicide prevention. I have held OT specific roles (Head OT for 14 years) and generic positions (Senior Manager at two in-patient hospitals). I have an interest in empirical research, having previously worked as a researcher for both Pfizer and City of London Police.

I commenced my post as University Lecturer at CCCU in June 2022.

I am keen to further explore how occupational therapy can be used to facilitate occupational adaption in performers experiencing mental health challenges. 

I do art (watercolours and oil painting), pottery and reading in my leisure time.
