Miss Stefani Konstantinou

Lecturer in Adult Nursing

School of Nursing

Stefani joined the university in 2021 and is the Module Leader for Practice learning 1 RNDA (Simulated Practice).

I completed my BSc (Hons) in Nursing in 2014. Prior to working at the university, I gained experience working in various specialties within the operating theatre department including a Recovery unit. Since joining the university in 2021, I have completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice and now awaiting to be rewarded with Fellowship of Higher Education Academy. I teach across a range of subjects on BSc Adult Nursing, Registered Degree Nurse Apprenticeship and Foundation year. I act as the module leader for Practice learning 1 where I plan simulated practice for 1st year RN Apprentices and a Personal Academic Tutor on the BSc Adult Nursing course.

Prior to joining the university, I had experience of teaching in clinical settings, supporting student nurses as well as qualified staff. Since starting at the university, I teach across different academic modules on the BSc and Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship courses, as well as simulated practice on the BSc and MSc courses. I have particular interest in Peri-operative care, pathophysiology and pharmacology as well as practice experience.

I have undertaken a small research project considering third year student nurses' understanding of their perception of peer feedback.
