Siobhan is a Senior Lecturer with a range of experience in Postgraduate Multi Professional HealthCare Programmes.

I am an experienced Senior Lecturer with Senior Fellowship of Advanced HE. My specialist interest is Practice Education and Postgraduate Health Care Programmes. I am also the cohort lead for PG Cert Health Care Practice GP Fellows. My previous roles in HEIs include:

  • Cohort Coordinator (Canterbury Christ Church University) for Clinical Fellows undertaking a PgCertificate in Practice Education, Leadership or Simulation.
  • Programme Director for General Practice Education (KSS Deanery)
  • Senior Lecturer (Brighton University)
  • Open University Tutor
  • Senior Nurse in Staff Development (Independent Sector)- this is where I set up a Post graduate Diploma Programme in Professional Studies as Associate Senior Lecturer Canterbury Christ Church University and a Paediatric Nursing Programme.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Social Science (Westminster University), an MA in Health and Social Policy (Kent University), PgC Adult Education (Surrey University), and Education Certificate (Croydon FE College). I have the Higher Diploma in Health Visiting (South Bank University), Obstetric Certificate (Bromley School of Midwifery), and I am an RN (The Nightingale School of Nursing ,St. Thomas's Hospital).

I continue to support Academic Practice Education initiatives to support Health Professional Practice Educators in Practice, and I teach the Public Health and Contexts module in the Specialist Public Health Nursing Programme. 

I contribute towards the Canterbury Christ Church University Domestic Abuse Awareness Conference.
