I am a lecturer in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management.

I graduated with a BA(Hons) in Media and Cultural Studies from Liverpool John Moores University, and an MSc in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management at CCCU.

Prior to joining the academic staff at CCCU I worked for CCCU Arts and Culture team for five years, and before that held senior management roles in Liverpool's Heritage/Creative Arts/Visitor industry.

I am currently the Module Leader for BSc Gastronomy and Menu Design and  Developing Academic and Professional Skills.

I also teach on Heritage and the Creative Industries International Events, Events Staging Visitor Attraction and Venue Management Introduction to Events Research Project.

I also supervise THE MSc and MBA dissertations.

My research interests include the regeneration of urban landscapes and increasing visitor numbers through cultural engagement and investment, addressing the neglect of heritage fabric in times of austerity, addressing the under representation of women at heritage sites and the impact of sewage on visitors and the economy of seaside towns.
