Ms Sarah Pye

Senior Lecturer in Practice Learning

Faculty of Medicine, Health and Social Care

Sarah is committed to supporting the development quality practice learning experiences for students across the Faculty.

I am an experienced registered nurse and have worked at the university since 2004. During this time, I have been involved in developing and managing courses, I have worked on university-wide and Faculty projects, and most recently my focus is working with health and social care providers that offer practice learning placements for students.

I have taught across a range of courses, including non-medical prescribing and pre and post registration nursing courses.

Most recently I have been part of a collaborative research team, exploring how feelings of belongingness on placement impacts career choices of newly qualified nursing and midwifery students.
