Mr Richard Pole

I am the Course Director for Tourism (BSc) and the Academic Lead Tutor for our Dubai partner Westford University College. I am also Subject Chair for Project Management and the Business School Designated Safeguarding Officer.

I have developed a number of new modules and teach on others across the suite of Tourism, Hospitality and Events courses, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. I currently teach on the following modules:

• Residential Feld Trip to Tenerife (lead organiser) 
• Project Management 1 (lead tutor) 
• Project Management 2 (lead tutor)
• Gastronomy and Menu Design (lead tutor)

I have also taught on the modules;

• Work Based Learning
• Research Projects
• Event Design and Production. 

In addition, I have supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.

Current interests include: Visitor exit research, Student Sense of Belonging, and evelping virtual visitor trails.
