I have worked in the practice learning sphere since 2012, and hold BSc, MSc, and PGCAP degrees. My role as Senior Lecturer in Practice Learning means I have responsibility for our cross profession practice provision within Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, the Private Voluntary and Independent Sector in East Kent, and our Social Work provision across the county. It is my responsibility, alongside expert colleagues to ensure a quality practice learning experience for our students, ensuring a meaningful approach to practice placements, and supporting the clinical staff who facilitate practice learning in each clinical area. My research interests lies in belongingness and how this impacts both the student experience, and their decisions post qualification.
