Lecturer in Graphic Design

Rachel teaches as part of the team for the Graphic Design BA course. Elevating design for good with ethical and sustainable practices, specialising in creative design skills and knowledge for industry and employment.

Rachel joined the Graphic Design BA course as session staff in 2019 before taking a permanent role as a Lecturer in 2020

Rachel graduated with a Masters by Research (MRes) in 2021 with her project "Design as a mediator for mental health – Investigating the role of graphic design as the facilitation of communication regarding mental health". She continues to be an advocate for 'Design for good' through practice-based research

Rachel is also an Art Director and Designer for her own graphic design business alongside teaching, which specialises in brand identity and development. She works with clients to help them best showcase their businesses through storytelling with design
