I am a lecturer in Management and Organisation in the Business School.

I am a Lecturer in Management and Organisation at School of Business, Law and Policing, having joined Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) in October 2023.

Prior to joining CCCU, I’ve had over five years of experience in academia in the UK and over 10 years of experience in the industry both in the UK and Sri Lanka. My previous academic roles include Lecturer at London South East Colleges and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Management and BusinessAdministration, a Master’s Degree in Management with Project Management, and anMBA specialising in Corporate Finance.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and an Academic Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development(CIPD), UK.

My research interests are culture, values, entrepreneurship, sustainability, intersectionality, and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

I teach on the BSc (Hons) Business Management course and Foundation Year Business at School of Business, Law and Policing.

My teaching interests are wide and varied, but mainly focused on research in business, entrepreneurship, sustainability, people management and work and employment.

I am currently a module lead for Business Project (Level6), Professional Placements (Level 5), Research Methods (Level 5), Retail Management (Level 5) and Personal and Career Development (Level 0).

My research interests are culture, values, entrepreneurship, sustainability, intersectionality, and equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).

I currently conduct a collaborative research project in understanding mental health of the student at LSEEG by looking at policies to develop intervention mechanisms.
