Miss Nikki Price

Research Assistant

School of Nursing

Nikki is a Research Assistant within the School of Nursing and leads on creative methods.

I joined the University in 2005 and have worked in various Lead Administrative roles, moving into the Faculty of Medicine Health and Social Care Research and Enterprise team in 2017 as Project Administrator on the Interreg DWELL and MOTION Projects.

I joined the School of Nursing as the Research Assistant for Healthcare in November 2021, and am leading on the development and promotion of the use of creative methods in healthcare research. My PhD research explores the self-directed creative practices of 14 adults after a death.

I am a photographer by creative expression and an Outreach Tutor for the University of Creative Arts, working with young people ages 11-18, providing mentoring as well as creative and wellbeing workshops.
