Dr Najah Battikh

Senior Lecturer

I joined CCCU in 2020 and I am currently a senior lecturer and course director of Chemical Engineering.

I have been working at CCCU since September 2020 and my research is focused on crystallisation monitoring and control as well as water treatment.

I have worked at different Higher Education Institutions inside and outside the UK teaching various chemical engineering modules.

Educational Qualifications:
PhD in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, UK
MSc in Embedded Systems Engineering from Heriot-Watt, UK
BEng in Chemical Engineering from Al-Baath University, Syria

  • Control Instrumentation and Communication Systems in an Industrial Environment
  • Mathematics and Computing for Engineers
  • Process Safety, Sustainability and Environmental Protection
  • Design Project in Chemical Engineering

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a STEM Ambassador.
