Miss Michelle Graham

Senior Lecturer

School of Nursing

Michelle is a Senior Lecturer on the BSc Nursing (Adult) course.

I am a Subject Lead for Adult Nursing and the Module Leader for the Care of the Deteriorating Patient. I completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice in 2020, and completed my Masters in Education in 2023. I am currently studying for my Doctorate in Education. I am a community nurse by background, having previously worked on an acute medical ward before that. I still work additional shifts as a community bank nurse at weekends.

I teach on a range of modules across the three year BSc course.

I completed my Masters dissertation in 2023 in "The use of virtual reality in adult nursing simulation; considering the new Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for simulated practice learning". I am now exploring topics for my Doctorate in Education Dissertation, with an interest in nursing students' perceptions of assisted dying.

I work as a community bank nurse for Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust.
