Miss Megan Corey

I have varied Paediatric Nursing experience but my career has predominantly been in Paediatric ED in a London Major Trauma Centre (MTC) within the NHS. My most current role within the NHS was as the Lead Nurse for a Paediatric Hospital at Home team with the focus of providing assessment and treatment to children at home instead of admitting them to hospital for acute illnesses. Now I have joined the team at CCCU I hope to bring this varied experience with me to help students to become holistic, reflective and expert practitioners, providing care and compassion to our children and families.  

I am a member of the Hospital at Home Society and have had the pleasure to link with like minded individuals across the UK and the USA to discuss building sustainable hospital at home models for our children and their families.
