I joined CCCU in 2015 and I am the Course Director for, and senior lecturer in, Law in the School of Law, Criminal Justice and Policing.

I joined Canterbury Christ Church University in 2015 as a University Instructor in Law. I was then promoted to Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer, before taking up the Course Directorship for Law

I have completed Ph.D in trusts and insolvency law. Prior to this, I was a lecturer and University Instructor at the same institution, where I began my teaching experience and Ph.D. My thesis focused on the relationship between the resulting resulting trust and liquidation regime, and the impact the former has on unsecured creditors. I also have a First Class LL.B (Hons) and LL.M (Distinction) from the University of Greenwich. For my LL.M I was awarded the University of Greenwich's Merit Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.

Furthermore, I am also a Barrister and Member of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, and was awarded the Inn's Major and Duke of Edinburgh Scholarships to complete the Bar Professional Training Course.

I am the Course Director for and Senior Lecturer in Law.

I am also the module leader for the following modules:

Equity and Trusts

Land Law

Mooting and Opinion Writing

In addition, I am also the Course Director for Law.

My area of research focus and expertise is the law on the resulting trust, and more generally the interaction of trusts with both the commercial and domestic contexts.

My research is primarily doctrinal, and also encompasses land law, company law and insolvency law. 

I completed my Ph.D on the use of the Resulting Trust in instances of Insolvency in 2021.
