Dr Mamunur Rashid

Reader in International Finance, and Course Director of Economics and Finance.

I have spent the last two decades teaching and researching finance in four countries. My teaching experience includes designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate modules on FinTech, sustainable finance, Islamic finance, and wealth management. I have published nearly 100 manuscripts, edited five books, oversaw several private and government grants, and edited five special issues. I am currently working as an Associate Editor for two prestigious finance and economics journals. As part of my other citizenship activities, I cofounded and led an Islamic finance research centre (CIBFR), am currently a fellow at Prince Sultan University's GIFTZ Centre in Saudi Arabia, and was the Chief Judge of Malaysia's Emerald Reviewer Training Competition.
