Mr Lee Bolton

Senior Lecturer

School of Allied and Public Health Professions

Lee teaches Diagnostic Radiography within the School of Allied & Public Health Professions.

As an NHS Radiographer, I specialised in CT, Nuclear Medicine & Neurological Radiography, and worked in five different hospitals in two different trusts.

After a nine years in the NHS, I joined CCCU to teach Diagnostic Radiography. I have served many roles within the University during my years here. I have been Professional Lead for Radiography twice, as well as the Course Director for the Undergraduate programme. I have served on several committees, focusing on learning & teaching and curriculum quality. I was Chair of Extenuating Circumstance panels for eight years.

Whilst publication and research has never been my focus, I have published on self-harm, employability within health education, and have presented on virtual student exchange experience within courses.

I have taught most aspects of the course during my time here, and currently deliver in Pathology, Leadership and in the Transition from student to Practitioner, as well as in communication skills within our faculty's successful Foundation Year. I have taught within our postgraduate programmes also.
