Mrs Laura Obeng

Senior Lecturer

School of Psychology and Life Sciences

Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation

I joined CCCU in February 2021 during the final lock down, which has its challenges to say the least. Having taught Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation at two previous institutions, I was excited to part of this new and exciting course here at CCCU. My primary responsibilities are teaching and guiding our undergraduate students to be the most awesome sports rehabilitators that they can be.

I am currently completing my PhD part-time at Loughborough University looking at muscle latencies in those with chronic ankle instability.

I currently lead on Soft Tissue and Clinical Skills at level 4 (first year) and on Prevention, Management and Treatment of Injuries at level 5 (2nd year)
