Mrs Kristine Pole

Principal Lecturer / Section Director for Advertising and Marketing

Christ Church Business School

I am Section Director of Marketing and Advertising and I teach PR and Employability Skills.

As Section Director I look after all the courses in Advertising and Marketing making sure the curriculum is up to date and engaging for students.

I have always had an interest in marketing and communication and their importance for personal, professional and academic success.

Throughout my career I have taught a range of marketing courses but taken and developed the area of Public Relations and social media to support wider marketing activity in the organisation.

I have worked with a number of media contacts companies, developing research on the relationship between PR and journalists and the impact of influencers in this market.

I am interested in both the role of PR and social media and how this has changed or developed across a number of countries in world.
