I joined Canterbury Christ Church University in 2001 on a part-time basis, concurrently retaining a clinical post as Senior Nurse/Emergency Nurse Practitioner, whilst attaining my Higher Education teaching qualification and undertaking additional postgraduate studies. I became a full-time academic in 2011. Although originally employed to teach subject specific modules for post registration staff within my specialist field of emergency care, my focus has now transferred more to quality improvement and service transformation, underpinned by collaborative working, research and education.

Research Interests: Quality Improvement; Higher Education; Research Informed Teaching & Emergency Care.
