Course Director for the Business Management and Logistics Management courses and teach Project Management, logistics as well as other areas across business
I have been with he University for nearly 10 years having previously worked in a range of business types from a sole trader to PLCs, and in sectors ranging from logistics to finance.
I currently lecture principally in two areas Logistics and Project Management.
In Logistics I cover the basic principles of the industry and introduce also more specific areas such as international logistics and sector specific logistics such as automotive logistics.
For Project Management I again cover the fundamentals of the subject to enable students to understand and undertake projects in their professional careers.
Other topics I have taught are retail management, brand management and marketing.
My main focus for research is the perception of logistics through visual imagery.
In addition to being Course Director, I also look after the Professional Placement Programme for year students taking a year in industry.
