Mr James Elliott

Senior Lecturer in Radiography

School of Allied and Public Health Professions

James is a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography at Canterbury Christ Church University and Course Director for BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography.

Within Canterbury Christ Church University, I carry out the role of Course Director for BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography. Alongside this, I contribute towards teaching upon the first-year Academic Skills module.

My qualifications include a Masters in Forensic Radiography, PgCert in Nuclear Medicine and undergraduate degrees in both Diagnostic Radiography and Archaeology. I have been working within medical imaging since 2005 within the NHS and private sector. My main area of clinical expertise is Nuclear Medicine and I continue to work in the NHS occasionally.

I am registered as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and also as an archaeologist with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists. As such, my research interests are diverse and I enjoy collaborating with NHS staff and archaeologists.
