Dr James Cugley

James Cugley received the B.Eng. degree in Electronic and Communication Engineering from The University of Kent in 2015.

That year was awarded matching grants from BF2RA (Biomass and Fossil Fuel Research Alliance) and EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) to undertake a PhD supervised by Dr. G Lu. within the instrumentation and measurement group at the University of Kent.

His research in the study of Instrumentation and Embedded Systems with a focus on the analysis of imagery and spectrometry to achieve an online characteristic measurement of fossil fuel-driven industrial power plant boilers to predict and reduce emission production.
