Mrs Inmaculada Diaz Alonso

Within Canterbury Christ Church University, I carry out the role of Course Director for Non-Medical Prescribing, and I also support other courses within the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.
I also continue to work clinically in Primary care as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner on a part-time basis. I have a strong background in emergency, urgent and critical care.

My qualifications include Msc in Advanced Clinical Practice, PgCert in Academic Practice and I am also a qualified Advance Life Support Instructor.

I am a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

I have  been involved with clinical teaching and supervision from very early on in my career, but made the move to academia in 2020. I started as an academic in practice and moved over to the ACP Msc in 2022. I also run NMP masterclasses to support yearly updates for clinicians.

I am interested in educational and clinical research.

• Collaboration with NHSe to create eLearning for supervision in Advanced practice.
• Part of the Kent and Medway independent prescribing and advancing practice networks.
