I am a University Instructor and PhD candidate

A University Instructor at Canterbury Christ Church University with 15+ years’ experience within the sports and fitness industry.

Working in parallel as a PhD candidate with health-related research focused on the haemodynamic effects of exercise detraining. 

My main teaching responsibilities include the leadership and management as module lead on an MSc Strength and Conditioning programme, the planning and delivery of lecture material across a variety of sport and exercise science modules and working with relevant stakeholders to ensure sound pedagogic practise. 

I have keen interest in health related research projects. My research skills include: extensive data collection and analytical techniques, regular collaboration on cross-functional projects, working with world leading researchers and third-party academics, and supporting key research metrics aligned with the Research Excellence Framework. 

I have recently gained my Fellowship of Higher Education. I am also a UKSCA Associate member and am working towards my accreditation.
