I joined CCCU in 2021 and I am now the Course Advocate for Biomedical Science.
My research areas are immune regulation in transplantation and human liver disease.
I was qualified as a clinician in China and started my scientific pathway after obtaining PhD from Queen Mary University London in the UK. After a brief spell at University College London, I moved to King’s College London working with Profs Robert Lechler and Giovanna Lombardi. There I used humanized mice as a model for the study of human immune rejection of allografts. As such, I was awarded an MRC project grant to further develop my research.
I am currently an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London, and an Adjunct Professor of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiao Tong University, China.
