Dr. Edmund Cheng joined CCCU in May 2024 as a Senior Lecturer (Collaborative Partners) in the School of Business, Law and Policing. He holds a Doctor of Education from Northeastern University and postgraduate qualifications from City University of Hong Kong and the undergraduate qualification from The University of Queensland, with a research focus on blended learning in higher education.
Dr. Cheng has extensive teaching and academic leadership experience in the UK and Hong Kong, across vocational, undergraduate, and postgraduate education. His expertise includes business management, leadership, accounting, and strategic management. He has also served as an Academic Link Tutor and Subject Chair, supporting partner institutions in the Greater Manchester region through quality assurance, moderation, staff development, and student support.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Dr. Cheng brings strong cross-cultural experience to his teaching and partnership work. He is committed to enhancing student engagement, academic standards, and the overall student learning experience across the UK and international partner institutions.
