Mrs Debbie King

I trained at the Royal London Hospital and stayed there to work in coronary care and then intensive care where I did my specialist intensive care training and qualifications.

After moving to Kent I worked as a staff nurse in intensive care working my way up to senior sister. I was the founder member of the critical care outreach team at Maidstone Hospital where I stayed until I moved to the School of Nursing in CCCU.

My interests remain centred around the clinical sciences and critical and acute care.

My teaching expertise is in the clinical sciences. I particularly enjoy teaching those who are new to the subject, and have an interest in developing blended learning materials.

I also have expertise in teaching and facilitating in the field of critical and acute care.
