David Lydon

Dr David Lydon

I joined CCCU in 2018. I am a Senior Lecturer in Professional Policing and Deputy Course Director.

I previously worked as a lecturer at University of Greenwich and University of East London teaching criminology and policing-related subjects at undergraduate and post-graduate levels.

 I currently teach modules including:

  • L4 Introduction to Professional Policing
  • L4 Criminology and Crime Prevention
  • L5 Policing Communities
  • L6 Policing Public Order and Crowd Psychology
  • L6 Global Challenges.

I also contribute to Post-graduate taught and research degrees including:

  • MSc Applied Police Practice
  • MSc by Research.
