I joined CCCU 2021 after 10 years working in the NHS with adults with learning disabilities. I am responsible for managing and supervising trainees on the Clinical Psychology Doctorate training programme and organising and contributing to the teaching.
This role continues my commitment to the clinical psychology profession, passing on experience to another generation of professionals. I have a degree in biology and psychology from Leicester University and a masters degree in social, emotional and behavioural difficulties from CCCU.
I worked in primary and secondary education as part of the Family Liaison Officer project for 10 years, developing pastoral support services for children and families, before completing my doctorate in clinical psychology in 2013. I am interested in the use of drama and story in psychology practice, spirituality and mental wellbeing, and social justice.
