Ms Athene Lane-Martin

I have worked for many years as a practitioner within Health Promotion  This has included working as a Community Alcohol and Drugs Worker for young people. This interest has also been developed in my work as a Mental Health Promotion Specialist which I carried out for many years across different NHS Trusts within East Kent. Most recently I was the lead trainer for Kent Community Health Foundation Trust within their Public Health Workforce training team.

I have experience of teaching within the community, in primary, secondary and further and higher education.

I am a registered Public Health Practitioner and a member of UKPHR (United Kingdom Public Health Register).

My interests include mental health and stigma, along with the role of service users in shaping and designing services.
