I am the Head of School for Psychology & Life Sciences and Faculty Director of Research & Enterprise

I joined CCCU as Professor and Head of School in 2018, having previously worked in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. I am a BASES accredited Exercise Physiologist and author of two academic books and 70+ research papers.

I was Director of the Institute of Sport & Exercise Science at James Cook University in Queensland, Australia and have worked extensively with elite sports teams and also across physical activity projects in rural/remote settings.

I am a Fellow of the European College of Sports Science (FECSS), a Fellow of the British Association of Sport & Exercise Sciences (BASES) and accredited member of BASES and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA).

In my spare time, I have had a fiction book published (Feb 2022) titled 'The Psychopath'.
