I studied an undergraduate degree at Latvian Academy of Sport Education and graduated as a PE teacher and a physiotherapist. After completing a Masters degree at University of Kent I became a graduate sports therapist and rehabilitator. I have worked part-time as self-employed. I specialize in overuse injury treatment and biomechanical error correction in order to restore function and improve athletic performance.

Along with running the Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Clinic. I also organize student First Aid cover for our home sports events at Polo Farm and Stodmarsh sports grounds. During assessment periods I am involved in the examination of anatomy, clinical skills and case study assignments. I teach Orientation to Higher Education and Research in the Sport and Exercise Sciences module for the 1 Year students.
